Wow... Three Months Just Disappeared!

My last entry was exactly three months ago... I think I miscalculated the effects of the extra work I started to do as I thought back then that I was just about to start writing something and posting about it. Well, quite the opposite.

I somehow even forgot that I had a website and a blog... It's no surprise that I soon started to cut back on the extra work as I started to burn out again a bit. But the thing is that a hazy and intense couple of months that wore me quite a bit was followed by a really slow period that gave me the opportunity to pull myself together and to regain focus. And finally in these past few days I was back in the Medieval North again and enjoying it.

Now I think that even the brutal heat that just arrived cannot bring me back. Almost every meaningful conversation I had in the past few weeks helped to get back my motivation to create this story that I need to do.

I think I seriously lack deadlines though, which is a common problem for writers so I am thinking about setting some. I am not sure how to approach this and I don't intend to sacrifice writing time to project management currently since I also want to write down every other ideas and texts that appear in my mind unrelated to my focus project, but eventually I still might do that.

Now I can remember that I actually started something in the past few months, something new that may also will incorporate the project called "The Desert" that I foresaw appearing in my last entry but now I am glad that my focus is where it should be. My only task now is to keep it there.
